A mobile appointment starts with more than an address. If your vehicle is parked behind a gate, inside a garage or in a shared apartment parking area, the technician also needs an approved place to work and a way to reach the vehicle. Sorting out those details before the appointment helps avoid a visit that cannot proceed as planned.
This checklist is for arranging access. It does not mean every property or parking space is suitable for glass service. Ask Auto Glass in San Antonio to confirm the proposed location and job before making plans around it.
1. Check permission before offering a parking space
Ask your property manager or the person responsible for the parking area whether vehicle service is permitted there. A space you may park in is not necessarily a space where outside service work is allowed. Mention any visitor rules, work-area restrictions or required check-in.
If permission is uncertain, tell us before the visit. Discuss another location rather than assuming work can take place on the street or in a neighboring lot.
2. Describe the actual route to the vehicle
A building’s street address may lead to a leasing office rather than the vehicle entrance. In your private appointment conversation, provide the correct entrance, parking level or space and any access instructions that are needed. Keep gate codes and other access information out of public reviews and social comments.
If a garage has access or height restrictions, describe them and let the provider decide whether the arrangement works. Do not promise clearance or working conditions on the technician’s behalf.
3. Identify the person who can answer questions
Choose a reachable contact for arrival, access and scope questions. If someone else is helping, confirm that person’s role in advance. Do not assume a neighbor or front desk can authorize work or release keys.
Keep your vehicle details with the request so the correct car and damaged glass can be identified. If the vehicle moves before the appointment, update the location and ask for confirmation.
