2. Provide Details: Share your preferred contact information, vehicle year, make and model, the damaged glass, and the base or nearby area. Have the complete VIN ready for windshield replacement.
3. Get a Free Quote: After evaluating the extent of damage, we’ll provide a free, no-obligation quote. If you decide to proceed, we’ll confirm availability, any trip charge, access requirements and an agreed meeting point. An off-base location may be needed. Ask about our military discount!
4. Appointment Scheduling: Confirm access requirements and an agreed meeting point with us before booking. An off-base location may be needed. For Fort Sam Houston customers, discuss meeting at Walmart or Home Depot in the Harry Wurzbach / Austin Highway area. We’ll confirm the specific location and a 3-hour appointment window; base entry is not guaranteed.
5. Technician Arrival: For the Fort Sam Houston arrangement above, we’ll call about 30 minutes before arrival. Keep your phone available and wait for the agreed meeting details before heading out.
6. Auto Glass Replacement: Our technicians will bring all necessary tools and equipment to replace your auto glass. They’ll carefully remove the damaged glass, install the new one, and ensure it’s properly sealed and secure. Installation takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Wait until the adhesive manufacturer’s minimum drive-away time has passed before driving. Ask your technician for the time that applies to your windshield replacement and the conditions at installation. We use a high quality fast cure urethane glue.
